Nancy Burnett began her insurance career in 1985. She specializes in Life, Long-Term Care and Annuities. She graduated in 1968 from National Business College in Roanoke VA. She has two children and 3 grandchildren.

Nancy has memberships in The Rotary Club of Western Forsyth, Thursday Morning Music Club NFMC(Recording Secretary) and Woman's Club of Winston-Salem (Assistant Recording Secretary). Her greatest achievements......joined Toastmasters International Club in 1978. Five times over the last 40 years she has won the Humorous Speaking Contest.

Alafair was born in Wilmington, Delaware and graduated from Concord High School. A fun fact about her is that she placed "2^nd Chair" Soprano for the entire state in her love of singing. Shortly after, she moved to Winston-Salem, North Carolina and pursued a career in Financial Services.

After excelling in in the industry at Wachovia Bank, she realized she wanted more for her growing family. She utilized her experience to assist with attending High Point University to gain her B.A. in Business Administration.

In 2012, Alafair experienced the "Sandwich Generation" and was faced with the challenges of taking care of her immediate family as well as her parents. During that time, she found that having a better financial plan for all generations would have been a great skillset to have. This is when she pursued her Health and Life Licenses. Since that time, Alafair would build practice and continue to share this financial knowledge to assist each of her clients.

Alafair's clientele consists of the affluent woman and those she cares about. She created a solid financial lifestyle blueprint which is tailored to the individual. She is the Senior Director of H.E.R, in which she supports women holistically through social events, workshops, and financial education. Her passion to see women in a place of power and authority stems from a humble background of resiliency. In her director role at J.D. Financial Associates, Alafair is currently training and partnering with other female associates who would aspire to take a similar path.

Alafair is married to Andre Davis, and they have two beautiful girls, Chasmyne and Andrea. Alafair is a natural "servant" to her community. She currently volunteers at her church serving on the Hospitality, and Care Team. Having a heart for the advancement of young scholars, she also spends time with the ACTSO Scholarship program through the NAACP, and served as Chairman from 2021-2023.

Being devoted to building her business and community in excellence, she is a member of B.U.I.L.D and W.I.N., both in which are supportive communities within National Life Group that support her career aspirations.

Ursula M. Green joined JD Financial Group in February 2019 as an Operational Manager in the Winston Salem agency. Ursula graduated from N.C. A&T State University with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Computer Engineering. She previously worked 9 years as an Operations Analyst at American Express, 4 years as a Customer Service Specialist at Lincoln Financial Group and continued her Financial Services career earning her life and health license. Ursula is insurance licensed in North Carolina.

Aurora Turner

Aurora Turner’s passion is empowering business leaders through strategic planning and training. At JD Financial Group she uses research tools and analysis to generate insights that drive value and revenue while enriching the organizational culture. She helps business owners by determining the economic value of their business for strategic planning. She is a moderator for The American College of Financial Services where she trains and develops financial services professionals to become responsible and successful industry leaders. Aurora is also a member of Finseca (Financial Security for All) where she can be involved in advocacy work for the Financial Services industry.

She is a Master of Business Administration- Operations Management candidate of the Jack Welch Management Institute and has a B.A. Business Administration- Acquisitions and Contract Management from Strayer University. Her certifications include Market Research, Marketing Analytics, Customer Analytics and Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt. She is a minister at Love and Faith Christian Fellowship and has honorably served 20 years active duty in the United States Navy. Aurora is the President of Time Design Services, a strategic business planning firm located in Greensboro, NC. Her aspiration in financial services is to help agents and advisors become knowledgeable and successful leaders in the industry. Aurora is insurance licensed in North Carolina.

Ben was born in Fayetteville, NC but raised in Greensboro, NC and attended the Guilford County School system graduating from Page High School in 1996. He went on to attend Benedict College in Columbia, SC where he was a student athlete. Ben graduated with a B.S. in Recreation in 2003. Ben is now attending Duke Divinty School in pursuit of a Master’s of Divinity.

Ben has always dedicated himself to serving people and the community. He worked in the City of Greensboro Parks & Rec. for seven years, as a Case Manager in Mental Health services, as an educator for twelve years with GCS system. For many years he volunteered as a coach with the Parks & Rec, AAU basketball, and USSSA baseball. On the high school level, he coached varsity girls’ basketball for four years, boys/girls’ tennis for two years, and as an assistant softball coach for four years. Ben has always had a passion for working with youth and the community.

The passion for serving the community has led Ben to this new journey of financial services. He obtained his Insurance license in July and joined JD Financial Group in August. He is looking forward to the opportunity to offer financial strategies and solutions to individuals, families, and the community. Ben is insurance lincensed in NC.
